Moving your website to us is simple

We review your website and all its plugins, then explain what we'll change when we take over, such as security and caching.

Move.
Once you're happy, we copy your site to our server, configure everything and switch your domain over. It looks exactly the same, just faster and more secure.

Ongoing care.
We keep your website updated, backed up and checked. You let us know when you add new plugins or change your setup.

Questions about hosting and maintenance
Maybe. Some hosts actively maintain their PHP version and provide everything a secure, stable WordPress site needs. If yours does, yes. Many hosts don't provide a secure environment for WordPress, and we don't support those platforms, because we can't offer our best level of service there.
We review your website and its plugins, make recommendations and explain what we'll change when we take over (security, caching and so on). Once you're happy, we copy your site to our server, configure your system and switch your DNS to the new version. Your website looks exactly the same, just faster and more secure.
Yes. We're happy to work with other web designers and content builders. When you move to Markegy, we update all your plugins and adjust the configuration so your site is stable and secure. After that, please let us know when you add new plugins or change your configuration.
Yes. We check which theme your website uses and make sure it's supported, so we can keep it updated. We also need to be able to contact the theme's support if necessary. The theme developer may charge for support, which isn't included in the maintenance plan.
We generally avoid third-party developers changing websites on our server, because unknown custom code and applications can cause problems. If you have a special requirement, get in touch and we'll discuss it.
That isn't covered, because it isn't a plugin update: a new system replaces the old one. Installing the new plugin is charged at our hourly rate.
No. Our servers are managed by one of the world's leading WordPress hosts and run on Google Cloud. Outages caused by technical problems at our providers are very rare, but they're outside our control and we don't accept liability for them.
