Although our server includes a very reliable and robust email system, we recommend using a dedicated email server to manage your emails.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are using the Markegy web server for email, then please be aware that we do not provide ongoing support unless there is an error in our server. You are responsible for installing and configuring your own local email software. (E.g. Outlook, Mail, Thunderbird etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to use email with the Markegy Web Server<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Option 1. External mail server (recommended)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We recommend this solution for any business with more than a few employees and who rely heavily on email to do their day-to-day business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An external mail server is provided by a third party such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/workspace.google.com\/products\/gmail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Workspace<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. With an external mail server, your DNS is modified so that your emails are sent directly to the third party server. This separates your website server from your email server, and gives you a much more powerful email solution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you would like more information about moving your email to an enterprise grade dedicated mail server, email us at office@markegy.at, and we will be happy to help.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Email software<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second solution for your email is to use a software package to manage your emails. For a small business this can be a good solution but you do need to manage your own email software configuration.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should select just one email program to manage your email. <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/gmail.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gmail from Google<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a very reliable and flexible option and is compatible with almost every device. If you prefer a desktop solution (where all your emails are stored on your local system) then Thunderbird, Mail or Outlook are the most popular.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To implement this solution, you will need to create an email box on your website hosting server, and then connect to that email box from your email software. The tutorials below will provide all the information you need to manage this process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In most cases, Markegy will create your email boxes for you and provide all of your login information, so you will only need to follow the relevant &#8220;How to Configure Your Email Client&#8221; instructions below. Our standard packages include the set up of up to 5 email boxes.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is very important that you remove emails from your website hosting server after you download them to ensure you do not overload your server hard drive space.
